Trying to decide to ship it or borrow my buddies enclosed trailer and put tires on it and make the trip myself.
I will also need someone to stay at my house with the dogs.
Doing the math to see what's cheaper.

If you have to buy trailer tires, that right there could pay for shipping or most of it. I don't have any recommendations, as the last time I looked into it was 10+ years ago.

I'd love to trailer Frankie up to my BIL's place for Labor Day. Not so sure the old 97 would be happy with me in the canyon even if I did have a trailer.

It cost $900 to ship it enclosed back in 2014.
I am hearing $2000-$2500 enclosed now.

$500 in tires for the trailer, I would like to put new tires on my truck too. ($1200-$1400)
They are 10 years old and suck when it is wet out, only 25k miles on them though. BFG KO2's
Then gas and food on the road, paying someone to stay here with my dogs or board them somewhere.

It's looking like shipping it might be the better deal.
My cousin lives in Kentucky and so does my neighbor's brother.
Might be able to move something down for them to pay the gas part way.
Time will tell, nothing is happening immediately.

Holy crap, Phil! I had no idea!

BFG had their last chance when my last set got noisy and cupped at 35K. I'm running Falken Wildpeaks now. We'll see how they age.

hahahaha yeh she has hidden it from me a few times already. I think I need to take a paint stirring stick to it or something to make it a little more visible.

Courtesy is key... even courtesy flushes lol

I was done with KO2's in the early 90's. 33" and up had serious hydroplaning issues..that's something you never forget.
