I'd be all over that opinion if it cut me a check.

What sort of diet is it? Most of us could use an improvement of any amount.
Most likley. There is a menu for this stuff if you can stomach it.

Basically sodium/salt free. No Pop.. Cut out or back on Sugar, Bread and Pasta.

Go with whole foods...cut out fast food completely.. Opt out of Micky D's....Bob Evens instead. I cut out deli lunch meats for awhile...love a good sandwich. Worked that back in , just not as much. It is working..but I could do better.

So to much of the bad stuff lead to heart disease. Quick recap since it's been awhile. My heart became weak, quit pumping like it should..starved internals of O2, lungs filled with fluid. Thought my goose was cooked for sure.

Passed out at the hospital while hyper ventilating. Woke up on oxygen, released 5 days later... been on the mend since. Could of been much much worse..very lucky.

I've heard you should start focusing more on your health at about 50..Ignored that..it caught up with me at 59.

I'm thinking about doing that intermittent fasting diet. I love Keto, but Holy hell it's expensive. Maybe I'll be able to afford it again in 2025?
Thanks white, guess I won't be feeling as guilty when not doing it perfectly. Just that little changed diet made a big difference. Thought I failing because I was only 1/2 into it. Quite a bit of time passed before actually seeing improvement. Was a cool surprise for sure.

I believe that stressing yourself out over strict adherence to some diet is just as unhealthy as moderate indulgence. I live by these two simple rules:

1. Observe the difference between "sometime foods" and "all the time foods".
2. Observe my credo: "eat well; die happy".

Found the 'The house of hair' (radio show affiliate) this morning while testing Ford sync and touch voice commands. Very cool. It's a good metal head/guitar show that's been around for quite awhile w/Dee Snieder. Anybody else familiar ?
