No, that's a customers car. We just rebuilt the trans in it.

We first put the valve body back in it that it came with.... but someone had drilled the **** out of the plates, and also mismatched upper and lower valve body's. So we located one that was all original and I went through it, and that is what we put in it last night.

These 6 ton Daytona's have a double lock setup. Aside from whatever I am using, I always have a floor jack engaged as an extra point as well. I never, ever leave a car on just jack stands.

It's pretty obvious. It was well placed. It's added support. Why in blazes remove it!?! You'll just have to put it right back, in correct position, etc, duplicating part of your work.

BTW, Bill.... I was going to tell you, that cross beam is also adjustable. It can go outward around 3 inches on each side, and both pads are adjustable height as well. That makes it very nice to use on subframes that aren't always even all the way.

The same way a load leveler works.

Yup, zoomed in. Young Andy, who offered the quote estimation software he uses, and loves tools, thought it was neat. He has a Stang also. Being in the San Francisco Bay Area, he's not a big truck guy. Oh well. He observes proper torque and settings. Jose, older, pulls out torque for fewer things, and is loved by broke folks who just need, good enough. He was not so gaga over the jack expander. That I, a neophyte in this decade, now and then am able to help them with something new to them, or a brand new "old" tool, blows my mind. They start to freak, "What are you DOING!?!" and *pop* - it's done. Intuitive physical tool stuff. Spacial relationships. "Wow. Sometimes it's good to have an old guy around." 🙄 Yet, they both are up on these fancy new sissy computers and sensors. Still, crank sensors can be problematic. They work on all brands. Refi is $ucking my budget for a tuner... on hold, again.
