Depends on what needs doing in order to determine if it's a good time to learn or not...lol

Pretty much though.

I felt like garbage late Sunday night, and all day yesterday. Felt like I had a fever, but never did measure as a fever. Didn't do much internets as a result. Feeling better today (so far). Hope it was just a bug that passed through already.
Now that's sick...when you can't even do the internet....

I wouldn't say awesome yet....the brain is still rebelling and doesn't want to help yet.

R&R the laundry tub, put a shellback pump in and tie it into the existing drain.
Remove the 2nd drainpipe, cap it off, and snake a drain.

$1095
Seems pricy to me, I am supplying the laundry tub.
Some of the pumps are almost $ 500 bucks and the cheap ones are $199.
So, hope fully it's the good pump for that price.

Does your main drain exit the house about 5' up the basement wall or something like that ?

Had one in my first house back in the early 90's. Last time I messed with one of those. Those aren't too bad from what I recall, basically replacing what's already there...nothing fancy right? Those pumps aren't cheap, prob 4 or 500 by now. But the good ones are really good, they need to be.

199...hell no, stay away from that. I don't know if I'd farm that job out. You may end up with a cheaper unit, good for only 2-3 years. That would be my worry there. Is there a sump pump close by...hope so.

Should do that one yourself, go for the good pump so you don't have to worry about it.

Wish I was closer, Phil. I'd come help you out. Sounds fairly straight forward.

Just ordered some gear oil for Frankie. I don't think the oil that's in it has more than 300 miles on it... 3 or 4 trips to SLC, and that's about it. BUT, the project moves forward. Time for 3.31 gears, SN95 axles, and rear disc. I think I'm going to re-clutch the differential too. I have two clutch kits for the 8.8's. Found two clutch/steel kits for 90 bucks a while back.

Got her back together, one drivecycle complete. No fireworks yet...hopefully it will hold together for another two full cycles. Still running like a champ.

I'll check it thoroughly after dark. The coil with the cracked housing I repaired is up front in #5 now (vs #7) and dielectric tight. If it happens to blows out my repair, it shouldn't have an affect on the knock sensor over by #7.

I have to get that light show video up, you guys will trip when you see what it was doing. Stills won't do it this time, have to see the vid.

I might have asked this before, but why the 3.31 gears? Are you planning a turbo or a torque-y stroker, or something?

I have two friends with 351's that told me the 3.27 is a perfect gear for cruising. I have a set of near new (new take off's) 3.31's sitting here too, so the price is right.

I've had it since version 8, and it's up to 12 now. Back then, it would let you play around and kick the tires before buying it.

So far Clip Champ for some reason won't play though without buffering every 3 or 4 seconds. Deleted audio alright, but without the zapping sounds each time that thing archs off...it's not as good imo. Even if I am complaining in the background...attempting to get the best angle. Probably just leave the audio in..not really swearing anyway. Just don't listen to me...kinda like yuh don't anyway. Engine running and Zaps are much louder than I am haha.

I'll see if I can figure out how to make it file you can watch through media player vs youtube.

Checked it in the dark, not arching anywhere.
