Should i get a throttle body spacer for my 1998 4.2 f150 v6 i wana more power!! Do they help?

 

No, get an SCT X3 Tuner from PHP. I don't think they make Edge Tuners for our 4.2's.

Why the need for more power???

 

Teird of trucks wanting to race me lol and me not racing bc i kno i lose ha if u saw the way my truck looks u would understand ha looks like a lightning ha and well ltrue reason is im planin on liftin it with 35s and need power do u know any other things i can do?

yes i do and i have many buddys tht has cherry bombs and glasspack but mine sounds like a v8 i have the nock off version of flowmaster and alot of people doesnt believe me when i say its a v6 and u can also get thrush welded muffler its like 40 dollors and its prob the best bet for good sound

 

no. only thing you would gain is distance between your throttle body. it will do virtually nothing on your engine, it's fuel injected. put that money toward a tuner.
