Default Tachometer Installation! How To?

I decided to install an aftermarket tach on my 2000 F150. I've installed tachs on older vehicles with distributors but my 2000 is distributorless. Searching online didn't come up with much in the way of wiring diagrams. Can somebody point me in the right direction?

AFAIK, you need a tach adapter for COP's.

^^^ That would be the only reason I see to change it. I don't even have an aftermarket tach in my Mustang, LOL.

Most of the time an aftermarket tach is pointless. But "it looks cool"

I was told pin #48 on the PCM is the wire I need to splice into. I'll give it a shot and if it doesn't work then hopefully the tach doesn't crash threw the neighbors front window after I punt it down the street like a football!
