Default Suspension

Well got to replace my suspension on my 03 supercrew pitman arm inner and outer tie rods idler arm my mechanic quoted me 950 but I think I should shop around more or is that about right for the work

That would be a decent price if he was replacing the entire front suspension and steering.

But for just those I wouldn't pay more then 400-600

Ok that's what I figured the last person that quoted me was about 850 not including the ball joints and outer tie rods

My buddy got his whole front suspension and steering replaced by a local shop while they did his 6 inch lift, and only charged 450 extra

450 that's really low I'm not sure about that though me buying a lift kit was 125 that's not counting the install dot get me wrong getting my suspension done because my mechanic second quote was 600 but that was using the cheapest after market parts

Ask him how much for just labor if you brought your own parts?

And the parts were pretty HQ they all lasted on his truck pushing 38s for a year and a half when he sold it

I just did all the following on my suoercrew myself except the pitman arm and it cost me $150 in parts with my garage account through advance, Not that hard to do if you can turn a wrench yourself.

Yeah I'm a plumber so I do my share of turning wrenches. I think my problem is I want to stick with what I know and not screw something else up in the process

its not hard with most basic tools other than swapping balljoints average tools will to the job and a pickle fork as well
