Default Superduty tailgate help

I can buy one with the step and ladder thing for 300 It sounds like a good deal, but its black. How much do u guys think it would cost me to have it painted to match my truck? Any help is appreciated. I really want to do this mod.

I need a black one lol i need to research this mod hate the stock tailgate just drips rust.

The local Ford dealer did mine for $480. If you have any painting skills you cna do it for less than $200 as long as its not two tone.

U need a new latch to go on the box just pm rus he did it and I know he will tell u what's needed

The tail lights are easy to do because I've dione them already but now I want to do the gate

I would do it if they didn't say superduty on them. if i get one free then i would pay to have the letters filled in. but I'm not gonna buy one then pay to get the letters filled in. lol

Looks like ill have a project ahead of me. Thanks guys. And 480 to paint a tailgate? Does that sound right? 2 grand can get u a paint job on ur whole truck.

I was hoping for a number like 200 bucks for a body shop to paint it. I know absolutely nothing about body/collision repair so maybe im talking out of my ***.
