It is really loud til the cats and motor warms up, then it tones down pretty good. After it's warm, it sounds good and isn't that loud at all I don't think. Mines an 03 Fx4 extended cab with 5.4, 2.25" from cats back with 3.5" magnaflow tips

Mine is still single with side exit and its hard to tell what you mean by loud since iv'e never heard what you have now but its pretty good. One thing about doin that is that the muffler gives it sort of a constant tone with no muffler its sort of like you can hear the engine more.

I had mine side dumped, and my new setup sounds 100% better.

I also have stock cats, and that is warm idle, I have a cold idle clip on my phone that I will try to upload this weekend if yall remind me. (text me at 715-614-8184, lol)
