Default Straight piping

I have a 5.4 2v and am wanting to make it loud but,not hateful some people have said straight pipe it what is involved? Is it just cut off the muffler and weld the replacement pipe on

what about the O2 sensors, won't those get screwed up?

The sensors aren't in your muffler.

If you want a feel for what a straight pipe will sound like then cut the muffler off, and if you don't like it then just use exhaust clamps and clamp it back on.

Not at all, I had a Flowmaster 10 series muffler on my truck, I ran it a couple days with just a chopped muffler before I got around to getting someone to weld on the new one lol. I had no issues, no codes came up.

Nope, no sensors will pick that up. Your truck will just be extremely loud, so if you're worried about bothering the neighbors, I would look into getting a muffler of some sort.
