Default Steering stabilizer

This might be dumb question. Could I be able to put a steering stabilizer shock on my 98 f150 4x4?. And if so would it even be worth it to put it on with only 33's for tires? Any insight would be appreciated thanks!

Yes you could like a single Pro Comp or Rancho would fit. I tried a double Skyjacker but its too big and rips out your actuator at full lock.

i just ordered a Rancho steering stabilizer bracket kit and a Rancho RS5000 stabilizer for $95 shippped on Amazon.

the stabilizer mounts ontop of the idler arm mount with a bracket. you take the bolts out of the ilder arm bracket, install stabilizer bracket on top of idler, install new bolts in kit and then install another bracket/u bolts to center link. install stabilizer on brackets and youre good to go. i should have mine tomorrow or tuesday. ill post some pictures up.

the rancho bracket kit is $45 and the stabilizer is like $50

What this will do is help with steering wheel movement over bumps with bigger tires. not sure how much its going to effect driving. i dont really have a severe problem but im trying this out to see how it handles and works out just so i know. im just trying products out. plus it looks cool lol and im sure i will see some sort of positive from it. im pretty happy with my rancho shocks i just put on a week ago so i figured i would get there stabilizer kit a shot.

yea no problem bud.

i have a build thread on ffs.com (not actual site name) but i cant post the link on here.

heres how the brackets mount. one goes on top of the idler arm bracket, the other mounts on the center link. i dont have the stabilizer yet, Amazon shipped them seperately. ill get it tomorrow and i should have pics tomorrow night or wednesday sometime.
