Default squeaking in reverse/ clicking when in drive

Okay i know there are a bunch of threads on this but i cant find one that describes my noises. When i shift into reverse and start to back up my truck makes a sqeaking sound like when your shoes are wet and u slide them on a tile floor. And then when im in drive it goes click click click ect under light throttle. But once i pound the gas and let off it stops for a bit before doing it again. Any ideas on this i already checked the ujoints and there good. Truck is an 03 scab 4x4 with the 5.4 and a 3.73 ls rear end.

How did you check the U-joints? You really need to pull the drive shaft to check em good... Also check your u bolts, and the next move is to pull your drive shaft and check out the slip yoke... So there ya go, pull the drive shaft, check the u joints and slip yoke

Oh and when ya pull your drive shaft block the tires and engage your ebrake... Can't be to safe, the truck will roll away if ya don't

As you pull the slip wiggle it around in all directions in a circular motion and make sure it's tight, I'm banking on u joints though but let us know... Also make sure the yoke slides in and out and isn't dry

Trust me, classic u-joint . They are not expensive to change, about 30.00 a piece for good ones.

^^ haha yup, people always say they checked em, next thing I say is it might be your slip yoke just to get em to pull the drive shaft and check thier u joints the right way while it's out!
