Default 2wd leveling question

I recently called a 4x4 shop to ask them if they would install a 2" coil spacer for me since I don't have the tools or the ability to do it myself. They said a 2" coil spacer would make the front end "unalignable" that's why they won't do it...
Is this true? I'd appreciate some info on this, I'd hate to think I wasted my money on an overpriced paperweight

not true, why would people level a truck if it makes it "unalignable"? find another shop, that one obviously doesn't know what they're talking about. don't worry you definitely didn't waste money, you'll love it once you get it on there

also, since you're 2wd are you adding a block or anything to the rear? if not then the spacer will make the front sit higher than the rear, and you definitely don't want that.

Thanks for the quick reply...

Yeah bro, I'm adding a block to the rear. I made some measurements and putting on 2" in the front would make it sit an inch higher than the back, so I got some blocks to level it out.

You can do it but you may need a camber caster kit

nothing if its the look you like. but for someone wanting to level their truck that's not what they'd want.

depends how big the spacer is probably. anything over 3" with the stock front suspension is too much and the stock setup can't handle it. that might be why they couldn't do that. i'm not too sure though i don't know too much about 2wd's, but i do know spacers should work, just maybe not with a 3" lift as well
