My grille requires the removal of the fan shroud (2003). About 8 PLASTIC screws stand in the way. Should be the same on all maybe? Well, I rounded off 2, and 2 more would twist but not thread out. I said "F*** it" and just masked it off.

Alright cool, thanks guys. Mine definitely needs it now. I was walking by with a can if spray paint and it fell and exploded next to my truck. my truck is white and the paint was red. Needless to say it was a mess. Got it all taken care of, thanks to laquer thinner but the grill I left alone since I'll be redoing it lol

Just a suggestion/tip. When u paint the grill, try to do it in a well lighted area. I was surprised at how much paint I used. Prolly went through 3/4's of a can. But I made sure it was all covered.

I think I know what I might be doing later today ! - It really makes the truck look clean; also I need to paint the faded out plastic around the rear window. I am curious if many people have re-sprayed that ?

yes a few of my friends have done it on their trucks, not to hard. just have to make sure it's not windy an you cover the cab an bed really well. im really putting it off on my truck because my truck is white and I'd be doin it black and I don't want any overspray getting on my can or anything lol
