Spark plug help

Know (No) worries, I got this one fingered out. He's planning an Escort swap....has to be. I mean think about it, this is a Ford F150 specific forum. OP has been informed, promptly informed about these plugs and Fords Modular Engine. These trucks have been around for a long time. The good folks that made him aware, enlightened the OP have had these trucks for a long time...or long enough. Doesn't take long to learn the in and outs with these trucks thanks to sites like these. For the OP to say "I never heard" about Autolites being a bad choice here is not only BS (this guy was just pummeled with the fact), it's impossible. So, it's either he went into hibernation before television was invented (definitely pre-information highway)and has just awoken, or this one lightbulbed an Escort swap.

I'm put it in the regular spark plugs and they seem to be helping I didn't put Motorcraft because I have the money but the spark plugs I put in has helped my fuel economy a lot

Glad they helped, but they may not last, and you'll end up paying twice. Also, where are you shopping that the Motorcraft plugs are that much more expensive than the Autolites? Cost difference can't be more than a buck or so per plug.

Sometimes you've got to experience it for yourself. Autolite's are not nearly as resilient to the conditions of the modular motors as the Motorcraft plugs.
