It would take me longer than that just to remove all the stuff to get to them.

One more thing that should be mentioned... torque them to 28 ft. lbs, DRY. Do not use anti-seize on them.

On my 4.6 #4 is the absolute worst, the rest aren't too bad although #3 isn't a piece of cake, but I'll spend 10 min. on #4.

Takes me a little longer, -I wrap a bungy around the two bulkhead harnesses and tie them back. Wrap another bungy around the heater core hoses, tie them back and out of the way...then operate lol. I get in there with a long blow gun and clear plug chambers first. Stick down in there and poke around, loosen any debris. The plug chambers tend to collect a bit of mud, little stones on occasion. Once it gets in there, there's no way out other than a blow gun. Yea, takes a little more time, but hey , it still runs and runs well.

Are we talking about just changing the plugs, i didnt change packs or anything, i just unscrewed old plugs made sure new ones were gapped and everything and screwed new ones in, with the right swivels and extensions, you dont need to undo the power steering pump or anything, just the bracket and thats it

Everybody is nicely telling you that there is no way it only took you 1 minute and 15 seconds on each plug.

It takes me 30 minutes to do my 4 cylinder Escape, which is WAY easier to access plugs, and each plug uses the exact same tools.... not swapping out extensions, swivels, etc.

I've never had any issue tho using autolight spark plugs. I've put them in m first car which was an 97 Chevy lumine with the v6 in it that kept blowing headgaskets. Then I've put them in my 2000 ford escort with the 4 cylinder. I've always trusted autolights and never had any issue from the plugs themselves. Is the an good pointers on getting the pack plugs out such as using pb blaster to loosen the coil bolts up.

That's fantastic, but those don't have modular V8's in them. I've also used Autolite's in my Escape with no issues.... but these modulars like Motorcrafts.

Do what you want Robbey, but we are all giving you real life experiences.
