Default Spark Plug Blew

So, I was driving down the highway and the spark plug completely blew out. I was told to get a Cylinder Head Repair Kit and use that. Tried it, now it sounds like air is coming from that spark plug. Before I go and put it in the shop, any ideas of what it would take to repair it? I have a feeling that it's going to take a good chunk of change to fix.

Only way to fix it correctly is with a Time-Sert!

Depending on your mechanical skills this can be done at home (did mine in a campground).
Which cylinder blew and how many miles since the plug was last changed?
Check out this link to Timesert for info - http://www.timesert.com/html/sparkplugford.html
Timesert 5553 kits go for $440 on ebay ($330 preowned).

No, you don't need to repair all 8. Just the damaged cylinder.

You need to consider starting over on all of the plugs. They need to be torqued to 28 ft lbs DRY. No anti-seize. Anti-seize can lead to spark plug blowout due to creating a false torque value. Motorcraft plugs only.

Thank you for the info. So it would be a lot cheaper if I knew someone with that repair kit.. hmm.
