I’ll sure look at that however I may want to replace the rears soon so I don’t want to make it permanent. Any suggestions for that?

Interesting. Cant believe ford cheapened out on rear speakers. My regular cab was a work truck version too but mine had front and rear speakers so i just had to add a subwoofer to give it some bass

no it wasn’t Ford who did that it was Georgia power, they ordered them as cheap as they could get them straight from the factory so they had to pay extra for the accessories like rear speakers and they didn’t want to do that so I’m stuck wiring it myself and cranking my windows down. But on the bright side it if breaks it’s cheaper to fix and figure out what’s wrong

Cut the plug off and wire female spade terminals on the end... those are what you plug into the speakers... then you can buy new speakers and just swap them out. Speaker plugs are pretty universal.

I always use these (link below), because I may put the stockers back in when I sell the truck, LOL. But.... you may not care if you didn't have stockers to begin with.

yes I am using exactly that for my JBL speakers I put in the front, problem is that piece that the black part connects to isn’t on my truck at all so I’m still debating on a hard wire or salvage yard style.

Since you never had stock speakers you don't NEED that connector since you won't ever put stock back in. Just wire in the spade terminals and be on your merry way.

Whitey was just giving an option since he MAY put his stock speakers back in when he sells. That part let's him go back to 100% factory. But again since your truck was ordered without them you'll never do that.
