Go to Crutchfield’s website and enter your vehicle information. You can get harness/plug from them.

I also have a super-basic 2000 F150, a Work Series truck. Like yours, it only came with door speakers. I wanted to add rear speakers. The speaker holes were covered with this seal:

Removing that rubber revealed the factory speaker wiring. The speaker plugs were connected to a sort of dummy plug to keep them from flopping around:

I picked up some junkyard speakers and got some speaker adapters from Crutchfield, as suggested. Everything works great.

okay I follow on removing the seal and it has the holes for the speakers however mine does not have the factory wiring, there is no wires that run to those doors. Could you possibly trace that as far as you could with pictures to see where mine doesn’t continue. I have decided to splice the factory wiring harness then run wires to the rears.

I have a '99 extended cab fleet work truck from Savannah GA. The rear speaker wires run under the floormat and terminate at 2 pin connector on the inside of the rear door posts, just below the rear seatbelt reels. See photo below.

okay sweet, so where do I get the connector to run from that connector to the speakers, because I do have that however I don’t have the connector going from that specific connection to the door to the speaker. Where could I get that because I was about to splice into the radio wiring harness and then run that to the speakers?

Just cut the connector off and splice it.

Yep. It's just 2 wires. Quick google search will tell you which color is positive and which is negative. Your speaker should come with with positive and negative tails. Cut off the connector and splice positive to positive and negative to negative. I like marine adhesive heat shrink butt splices.
