Default rough idle

don't forget to have your cats checked. They cause weird problems

How can you check the cats.
Go to a muffler shop. What are you checking for a plugged cat.
There are no codes when checking with OBDll also shows green light when doing emission test.

I had a leaking intake manifold gasket that was leaking that caused a slight stumble at idle.

Ok, did it put any codes in and did it cause any other problems for the truck.
How did you find the leaking gasket and is this a common problem with the 1997 f150.

This weekend I noticed a coolant leak on the passenger side of the engine. Anti-freeze is dripping off of the engine mount onto the transmission coolant lines, just in front of the starter, then to the ground. The top of the bell housing looks to be damp also.(not sure if this is caused by coolant or trans leak) Drips after the engine warms up. I cant smell anti-freeze under the hood, or see smoke and the engine looks dry when looking down from above. Truck is not over heating and no codes are showing up. The valley under intake manifold looks dry and truck is not putting out smoke from tail pipe. Oil looks ok and so does anti-freeze in reservoir. Im hoping this is not a head gasket or freeze plug.
Could this be a damaged intake manafold gasket.
Anything else that could cause a leak at this location.
Going to do coolant pressure test to see if I can pin piont the leak better.
