Default Torque Converter Engaging

Guys, I need y'all opinion. I can feel the torque converter locking in around 45-55 mph. It doesn't sound bad or anything but I can definitely feel it connecting as I hit the gas pedal around 45-55 mph for like a split second. Should I be concerned about it?

No.

Though if you have a torque converter that locks when you mash the peddle, you definately have something wrong. All the other ones unlock. Lol.

Plus if it gets 20mpg "easy" as you said in another thread, you have a unicorn on your hands and it's best left untouched.

I must have worded it wrong. Yeah, unlocking is what I meant if its the correct term but yeah I've achieved 20 mpg going 55-60 mph on the highway just taking it easy on the pedal.

OK. Yea, you can feel it. Change your fluid and filter for best preventative maintenance.

The cost of doing anything more outweigh the concern you have. ($1000+ for dropping and replacing)
