Sorry, the Gotts mod will still help without removing the air silencer. Even with it left in the Gotts mod will still give you a noticeable improvement.

i did the gotts mod but not the silencer. it seems that the silencer might be there to stop the plastic from heating up as much. it seems like it would.

Yea I figured that you meant shouldnt and farmer didnt realize it. Just clearin up a little confusion.

i was reading the instructions on how to do it and it doesn't say how big round of piece i need 3" sound right?

i know it says 4-5 inch long

Why is it called a gotts mod when it's just replacing a little tube????
