Default Shock Suggestions

So i'm new to the forums and still trying to figure out how to work it. Just got a 2001 Lariat Ext cab with the flareside bed. It needs some new shocks and I dont know what i should put on. It doesn't have a lift and i dont plan on one. I do mostly highway driving so i dont need any high end offroad shocks. I've been looking at Bilstiens and ranchos? Any other suggestions would be great.

I'm running ranchos and am very happy with them but I hear the correct pro comps or bilsteins are really good choices as well

Thanks. Do the ranchos run any smoother? I mean I know it's not going to be like a car but any significant difference from the stocks?

My stocks were completely useless when I took them off so it made a pretty big difference to me.

I personally like the rancho shocks. Great ride for a truck and not too pricy

I installed bilsteins a couple months back. Best decision for the price and its life expectancy

I have bilsteins and i like them. Plus bilsteins can be re-built once they wear down
