Default Seafoam

So yesterday I finally after reading so much I bought two bottles of seafoam. I put half of one in the engine and the other half in the gas tank. I know everyone said to only use 1/3 of a bottle thru a vac you line but my truck has 198000 miles on it and it has never been done. So I used the other can to go thru the vac line. I thought it would smoke while it was going in but it didn't at all. I let the truck sit and run for a minute after the last drop in. I let it sit for 20 minutes after then drove it down the street and it smoked like crazy for the next 10 miles. While it was smoking it didn't want to run hardly. Afterwards it ran like it haven't ran in years.

So if any of you on here have been thinking about doing it. Do it! It helps a lot on performance.

You unplug the vacuum line at the brake booster, easiest one to get to.

I would also suggest seafoam in an areosol can an this is introduced through the throttle body and clean up intake very well.

The store I went to didn't have the spray cans that would be nice. But I clean my throttle body all the time.

Could you take a pic of the line your referring to. I don't want to put it in the wrong one. Also when I pour it in does it need to be running?

On the driver side you'll see a black round drum on the fire wall it has a plastic 90 with a 1/2" or so hose with a clamp holding it on the 90. Pull it off with the truck running slowly put the line into the bottle and it will suck it up. Do it over like 2-3min to suck the hole can down. Put the line back together. Let it run for 5 min then kill it. Let sit for at least 15 min the longer the better. Then crank her and let her idle for 5 min then take her for a drive and after 5-10 min drive it kind aggressively this will help blow anything out. And I necer did a whole can only half a can then half in the tank. But I wouldn't hesitate to do a whole can.
