I’m curious myself, I wonder if we got enough ppl together if they would give us a 10 percent off. I’ve been doing a lot of research and SCT or the Diablo 1000 I think it was is the way to go. I saw some say 100 HP gains but that can’t be by just the programmer but I don’t know much about the eco boost, I only have put 3000 miles on mine. I think if your going to do it you
need to get the exhaust, Intake, programmer to get those type of gains. If you go from stock to only the program I would guess 40-70. Definitely enough to notice but if you’re dropping 400 you may as well and let it breathe. But even though I really want to do it, my truck rolls the f*** our stock. Would like to see it with another 100 HP. But don’t wanna break **** either. Or void my warranty.

40 to 70 horsepower gain? From a Gen 10? No way on earth.

These trucks are not going to surprise you with "hidden horsepower" from a tune. In fact, unless you've added something like heads, supercharger, turbo, etc. - you are seriously pissing in the wind. Don't waste your money.

Only reason I keep my SCT x3 is it keeps my speedo correct. due to different size tires.
I do notice a difference in shifting, but no power gains from it. These 10th gen's just don't have much to gain from just a tuner. As White said, unless you have a lot of other performance parts already added, don't expect much from any tuner.

Why do I see so many people raving about the SCT X4? I called them today and Dwane from 5* said I could see an extra 100 HP. I said that has to be with doing exhaust intake, new Borla Turbos? He said no just plug it in. It’s super hard to believe but I gotta go look at some other threads on em. Thanks

Yeah, Dwane's head is up his ***. I'll eat JBrew's shoes and put it on youtube if you find 100 hidden horsepower out of a Gen 10 tune. You might.... and that is a very reluctant might, find 10 horsepower. Seriously, these trucks don't have much more to give.

You want to know why you can't find anything on it? It's because it doesn't exist. I hate to tell you.... if those figures were true, every damn one of us on here would have handed over 400 bucks for 100 horsepower. But it simply is not true. I like to see the candy before I climb in the van, and nobody has shown me the candy yet.

I had made a thread about Tuners a few weeks ago and came to the same conclusion, you're better off doing a "hardware tune" so to speak is what I gathered, transmission shift kit, with a locker like a detroit locker or lincoln locker if you have a welder and various other things.

Yea, it's why I didn't post much in this thread, - we just went through all this. The OP isn't participating either....
