What do you all think of this design should it work out minus adding the gussets to the shock mounts what length shock should I have if the distance from the top plate mount to the shock mount is 18 inches. Any other things I would need to work about?

It looks pretty good, are the rear eyelets for your springs? Or for sOme traction bars?

Personally I'd add or take away from te shock mounts, so you can use off the shelf shocks at Oreillys or vatozone... It would take a lot of headache and expense out of it.

That's the front crossmember I made I plan on building this up eventually for my front bumper and all this stuff would be free I have some of the factory ford mounts but I want to run dual shocks and just seemed like to much hassle to fit 2 of them up there plus wanted to keep some space available for my hands to work on stuff that's why I drew this up

Lol I thought bout it all I would need to add is the steering linkage and shackles and that would be everything to do it then make the shackles and crossmember to different lift heights

So anyone able to help me with what shocks I should buy based on my current ride height. With the truck sitting on the ground the mount will be 18 inches up from the top plate. Do I need to get the compressed and extended lengths to figure out what I need or should I have enough already to figure this out. I would like 4 inches each direction from regular ride height.
