Unicorn tears worked wonders on my rust.

They are not easy to make cry though, so it gets expensive.

I believe if you searched you would find a plethora of info.

Do not,I repeat,do not use normal paint on rust, that will trap it and make it worse. I have surface rust on parts under my truck and I'm about to coat everything in POR-15 Gloss black. It is expensive, but it's supposed to be a do it once you're set for years type of deal.

Underneath... you mean the frame? If thats what your talking about I used rustoleum rust converter and then 3m undercoating after that. As for your doors if you can break off the rusted metal your best bet is just to cut it out and put new metal in that will stop it or you can try to grind the rust off and put bondo over it but it usually comes back. I also have the same problem with the doors plus the rocker panels which will be completely replaced.

You will never fully stop rust unless you cut out the infected areas and weld new pieces in. You can keep covering it but it will come back every year (and get worse and worse). I just replaced most of the body panels on my truck, got sick of dealing with the stuff. It's like cancer when left untreated it spreads.

POR-15 actually kills rust, but as I have learned if you put it on bare metal it will peel
