Run a VIN
Hi, This is my first post as I just got a 1999 Ford F150 XLT 5.4L Triton.
It failed inspection in 2011 and I was wondering if someone with an unlimited VIN report subscription wouldn't mind running my VIN for me to know what it failed inspection for.
VIN: 1FTRX18L6XNB63465
When I bought it two days ago the brake light didn't work which I fixed after finding a bunch of wires sliced in the harness. And the shock mount is rusted off. I just wanted to know what exactly it failed inspection for so I can focus on that.
Thank-you so much!
Ricky

You weren't told...?? In NJ, before they went emissions-only, if you failed, you were given a printout (even if you pass I think) of everything they checked and if you failed, why you failed and by how much... your state doesn't do something like that? 'Cause how can they expect you to fix the problem if you don't know what it is?
Try going to your DMV and see what they say.

I have only owned it a few days. When I bought it, I asked him why it failed inspection and he told me brake lights which it very well could have but I think it may be a little more than that. But thank-you everyone!
