Default Rocker panel replacement

Just curious what some of you guys have paid to get rocker panels and cab corners replaced?

I think most here are do DIY'ers, but, there may be a few who farmed it out.

I'm going to attempt it myself. I need to learn sometime, and my Buddy is pretty good at it.... so if I need to, I'll have supervision, lol.

I aint got a welder or the experience to attempt it and it's a little more in depth than just cutting and replacing

I was quoted 2500 with me supplying the parts for just the one side. thought that's a bit steep

that's not terrible actually. Body work is $$$ plus he probably shot high to cover any SNAFUS that pop up. And plus you actually have accident damage so that truck needs to be put on a frame rack. The floor is probably buckled too

Just before i bought dads old truck, he had a light accident with it. Right drivers door replace, right passenger door repair, right front fender repair, both rocker panels and cab corners, paint, supplies and labor: over 3000.00 and this guy cut dad a deal because he works for dads friend.
