Will 2002 lariat Fx4 rims fit my 98? and would need to get different lug nuts?

Yes they will. I took the rims off of my 97 and traded them with my 2001. You will need to keep the lugnuts from your truck.

thanks i new they had same bolt pattern but wasnt sure about lug nut situation but i do now

I did the same with my 98. I had to find lug nuts with the chrome caps for the FX4 wheels. It wasn't easy at all. I finally did come up with a number. They are 611-228 Dorman, or NAPA BK 6414243. I ended up finding the rest from Rock Auto. They, by far, had the best prices on them (Dorman ones). I have shop jobber parts account and couldn't touch them on cost.

Yes. The 12mm were used up to late 99 or so and 14mm on all after.

In case someone buys your wheels, I have a full set of the 14mm chrome lugs nuts for the 01-03 FX4's, if someone needs those. I use the 12mm's personally, so I won't need those.
