Default Reverse Light ???

Hi
I wanted to ask ... Did the original 1997 f150 no reverse light?
I have the lights in the 3rd brake light switch. they were gone. I think the two white, are reversing light!
The only light up when I open the door.
I have not found a reverse light. the f150 has none?
Hope the gearbox has a port for reversing light?
We are committed in Germany, to have reverselight on the car.

Is there somewhere a tutorial to install reversing light?

Thank you so much
Greetz an sorry for my Schoolenglish

The two white lights on the third brake light is for when the door is open. The tail lights have reverse lights buit in to them. Theyre the white square towards the bottom. If they dont come on when u put it in reverse the bulbs may just be out.

Ya over here the red light blinks for the turn signals. And the white square is back up. U could always wire in a set of fog lights and attach to the bump and wire them to the wires meant for backing up so u have the lights

The red part flashes red when turn signals are on. Holds red when brakes are pressed. And the white part at bottom has normal bulbs in the for reverse lights.

ja
yes just as I was thinking that.
In Germany, only yellow turn signals are allowed. Therefore, the previous owner has changed it.
The rear lights are now indicators. Reverse light I did not.
The owner has brought the whole cable mess!
I have to find all the cables. There were many cables cut. And then I can assign the cable and attach an extra back-up light. Rear fog light, I also do not have.

One more question. The button for the light that you can pull out. which has the function? Is it for fog?

Ahh and have someone a connection plan for the truck , i dont know the name in English.
On the Plan are all the Wires of the Truck with Colours ..........

Thank you

Yes the dial for turning on the lights when it's all the way to the right you can pull it outward and the fogs will turn on
