Default Removing overhead console...

I was wondering how you would go about removing the overhead console on the 99-03 f150. I was thinking about painting the doors on it but I wasn't sure on taking the console down. Any help is appreciated!

Phillips screw towards the windshield and its just held on with clips after that, so you can just pull it down.

There is 1 screw in the front by the mirror, and a few up under the doors. Remove those and then push in the tabs that are behind the doors also

I think the screws that are behind the doors are for the mount itself arent they? I have never taken those screws out.

Sharp job raif! I ended up trying the ol' plastidip to see how it would turn out and it turned out pretty sweet. How did you go about painting yours? I'll post some pics up tonight when I get a chance.
