for sure, thats why you gotta buy one quick. i wanted and AR but like you, it aint so easy when youre unemployed lol.

i normally use my dads 30-06 or one of my grandpas guns. i just like having and using my own stuff. my dad asked me why i was buying all these guns, thats exactly what i told him.

hahaha i hear ya man. i just bought a 12 gauge benelli nova pump a few months ago before i got laid off and i just bought an archangel stock for my ruger 10/22. still awaiting 2 25rd mags for it. the company is behind like a month or more.

next rifle i think will be a ruger mini-14. not sure how a .223 round would stand up to a deer for hunting though. would probably just be a target/protection rifle for the house.

thanks man. bed goes on tomorrow. hopefully i dont run into any snags.

POR-15 is the way to go for the frame. i used it on mine while i had the bed off.

i love guns lol. i was planning on taking my CPL (thats what they changed it to) class this winter since my job is seasonal but that hasnt happened yet. not sure what kind of handgun im looking at though.

hey man. i want to see some pictures of the LEDs. did you post them up in a thread? also want to check out them visor storage things.

bed is still flipped over on my garage floor. ive got everything welded on and right now im just waiting for the paint to dry. i guess it got a little too cold last night so its taking longer for the paint to dry. looks good though. just hope it goes on the truck with no problems. once its on the truck i have to fix the inside of the bed where i welded new sheet metal in. ill have to fill it with some fiberglass filler and paint it.

It is a 2001 and i took the headlight switch out and found the wire that gives power to the park lights and i then tapped into it for power.

I mounted them on the vinyl right before it ends going towards the pedals. If you need a picture i can get one later.

i hope we get a little bit. they always talk big and then we get nothing haha.

im actually replacing the support beams on the bottom of the bed. mine are rusted through pretty good and im afraid the bed is going to fall onto the frame. i gotta take it off and flip it over and weld some new beams on that i bought.

i had to go out to linmar steel in livonia to pick up some 1/8" square steel tubing. the guy gave me like 30ft for $60. i made some brackets out of angle iron, wasnt my first choice for makking a bracket but its all i had. ive got 3 pieces cut with brackets welded on i think two of em are 4ft long and the other one is like 6ft.

the project should be farely easy to tackle. the hard part is flipping the bed over. once i get the bars welded on ill be rolling some POR-15 on the whole underside of the bed to protect from further corosion. gotta go pick up a quart at Flatrock Auto.

yea i took the positives and wired it into the parking light wire. there is a wiring harness that is tucked underneath that front engine support just above the radiator. you can find the parking light wire there instead of going all the way over to the light itself but thats up to you. its a brown wire. put a voltmeter to it to test it just to make sure. i ground it to the spare tire tool mount.

youll have to mount them differently than i did for sure. want to see some pics of it though if you get it done today!
