Default Remote Start Install

I am going to try to install my remote start in my 1997 f150..I never installed one before.anything you guys/gals can tell me to help or a wire diagram ..it also has door locks.thanks in advance.

your starter will come with a wiring diagram, you just have to find one for the truck, I think there is one on another forum, I will see if I can find it for you.

Ty,or anyone with info........lol

I already have the remote start .my wife got me it for xmas.
it does have a wire diagram(prostart) canadian tire .
I guess I need the diagram for my truck.it has power door locks and the alarm.

thanks.........did you notice on the 6 pin he does not list what they are for just says..... under the coloum ........this will help to find most wires but not all. mine is a prostart

it was for the 97 f150, but the starter model has a built in start delay to allow the glow plugs to warm up on diesel before it starts.

its from the bulldog website.
