Default Quick battery terminal question.

Hey guys the bottom part of my negative batter terminal cable broke today. So i flipped it upside down an retightened it so the top part will grab and make good contact. I wan wondering what kinda tools i need to change it tonight? And how do i go about doing it? Cut the old one off, strip the wire, and recrimp? Or is it sautered on and do i have to resaughter it?

I replaced both of mine with this:

They're pretty cheap at parts stores. I think they were under $2 a piece.

Just cut, strip, and clamp the wire.

Buy the ones that are factory replacement. Then there is no stripping on any wiring.

Unless you take the time to cut apart the factory crimped terminals, you're going to have to strip the wires no matter what they're replaced with.

Got a 3$ autozone one that clamps onto the wires with 2 boltl. Seems sturdy. Stripped real good and tightened with an electric impact. I know autozone stuff generally sucks but i think thisll be just fine.

Those aftermarket terminals are ok for temporary use but I'd replace the cable. No crimping, no fitting, no headaches.

I have to many cables for that one to do it like that but it is nice to have them where they can't pull out
