How many people you think own a 97-03 f150 have been the only owner to put the right "wear marks" on the engine?
What's it matter...it's made to do both...that's why the pedal goes to the floor.

I'm unemployed, sorry I drive conservatively because I want to SAVE some cash. Yeah if I want to drive it hard I will. I want my truck to last, since working at the Ford Dealership the older trucks are A LOT NICER than the new ones, with their special "wear marks." People that buy the new trucks just hot rod em and don't really care how they drive, they're all dirty stinky and dented.

I love my old truck, it's wonderful, I also have a 1989 F150 and a 1949 3100. If I want to go romping around, I have other toys for that.

A truck is a truck, it is meant to go fast and turn well, just like my Z28 is made to go off road and pull a camper!

I agree, sorry for the confusion from others Jordan, but when I drive mine for a daily driver I'm considerate. But off road, throwing some mud or bouncing through a field, I'll let 'er eat!

My 97 Scab is a 4.6 with the 5 speed, and I drive it very conservatively. It has 275/70/17s with 3.55 gears, and I am seeing about 22 mpg consistently. It has a K&N filter, all else is stock.

For all the guys who don't care about mileage, I will make sure to smile and wave as a pass you at the gas stations. But I understand, it ain't cheap bein' cool

I know its made to do both. so why are people on here "seriously take off you purse or tell a lie" and your saying what's it matter to me? When I'm driving i don't let anyone pass me. there was a powerstroke trying to show off for his gf on the way to work one time and so i let him have a little taste of my exhaust. it was so funny he was flashing his lights and flipping me off. and haters gonna hate he's the one hatin.
