Hmm I like there bumpers, is it possible to put on a 97 xlt?

Not all of them have different gears,I know someone with an 03 FX4 and he has 3.55s also

Yeah you can put a 99-03 bumper on an older truck, but you have to change the grille too because the 97-98 don't have the dip in it. So you have to get the newer grille to match, or you could put an LED light bar in there to fill the gap, that would look cool and be functional too.

Well I was planning on a newer grille to and will put a light bar eventually

It's not just the grille, but the whole header panel that needs to be swapped from a '99+. That's to make it stock. I like BrowningSCrew's idea - anywhere there's room is a good place for LED lighting. If tastefully done, that WOULD fill that empty space nicely!

I think the FX4 also comes with different color fenders and top bumpers. Mine did anyways.
