I know you can get that in the two tone, but mine is a single color (Black) with grey metallic fenders and bumper

Like was mentioned a few extra options. Nothing to make the truck perform better with the exception of the skid plates.

I don't think XLT vs FX4 is the correct comparison.

It should be XL vs XLT vs Lariat vs King Ranch.

Different types of packages, "FX4" was not available in 97.

My heritage has 17s, thought they changed the rim size in 99, could be wrong though

Yea because I have skid plates all under my truck from the factory, and it came with 17s. (Different one's nonetheless though) Basically our trucks were the fx4 package of there year because there wasn't an option. haha
