Default Projector Headlights

I have an 01 f150 and got some HID Dual Halo Projector headlights and have been working with my dad to put them on. We have had to cut some of the things on my truck to make it fit properly and still havent got the bolts that connect them adjusted right. I was just wondering if anyone else has put any on there truck and how they put them in? Did you have any problems and do you have any tips. I have to have them in by tomorrow. Thanks

Just put mine in the other day. We had to grind down a lot of the headlight socket plastic to get mine to fit. Haven't adjusted them yet.

I have the same ones as you, BBT25. Ebay specials from China. Mine protrude the same amount as yours. The only mod you can do is grind the headlight opening in the metal header panel to allow some more mounting depth....that's it. Mine point only slightly higher from optimal without modification. The headlight assembly really can't be modded, since it's one piece, and plastic at that. Been on my truck for over 2 years, and have left them alone since they work well. At least you have the fogs to add some fill in.

I have a different brand, but same issues... They went in fine, but the field I view is pretty narrow and I haven't yet plucked up the courage to get cutting... It has been about six months so far As said before though, the fog lights do a great job of filling in especially since I put HIDs in them, and I wired mine to stay on with the high beams B)

Dont seal it all back together until you go for a drive and make sure everything is where you want it.
