I can't say I regret mine (spent $200 on programmer, $50 on tune) as it allows me to adjust for different tire sizes, but I would be hard pressed to spend more than that for it on this gen truck.
Only good thing is if I get a newer gen F150 (or some other Ford products) I can use this tuner on it and just pay for a new tune, and it actually makes a difference on the newer trucks.

Right 2004 plus, they even sound bad *** with a tuner lol. Forgot about the tire size adjust. For my 98 if I switch sizes I need to purchase some plastic gear to sync right. Not sure of all the details, I think it's for the VSS. (?) Or the speed gear on the trans. Ahh, can't remember at the moment lol.

Be being able to read dtc's, temps of my coolant and tranny along with voltage and many others, back up camera compatibility, tire size calculation, and being able to fine tune the way my truck runs make is worth it to me imo.
