Default Problems driving forward

2002 f150 5.4 liter 4x4 supercab short box

Symptoms:

Basically dies and won't move when put
Into drive.

We replaced the fuel pump so it fires right
Up and idles like a baby *****cat.
Go to put it in drive truck starts to shake
Hit the gas and the shaking gets worse

Rpmsa arnt moving either
Truck did sit for 8 months and the overdrive
Light is blinking.

Pulled a few emissions codes nothing big deal but
Got 2 shift solenoid codes and a crankshaft cult malfunction

According to my trans guy which is 5 star on google here in Michigan
Told me that even if I'm throwing these codes it should still do something
In drive and it doesn't.

Could it all boil down to fuel being sat for so long?

Bad fuel would be my number 1 suspect.

I forgot now I feel stupid. We emptied the tank completely to replace the fuel pump. So the truck actually has a 1/4 tank of new fuel I'm it. And we have let it run for about 3 hours on new fuel with no results

Try changing the fuel filter, not sure about the codes,or the O/D flashing.
But I have seen a few trucks idle fine but couldn't be put under load, cause of a clogged filter.

i have heard from people on this site that when the overdrive light is blinking, it means that the transmission is in "safety mode". maybe something is jammed up in there. Did u try reverse, 2nd, 1st. shift into 4wd.

Tried 4x4 no change. Also replaced fuel filter and no change. A lot of money and time invested. Any other suggestions

2 more things i can think of. were the thorottle body is, there is a couple of sensors that control how much air goes into the engine. make sure the wires are all pugged in. i cant remember what the sensors are called. and make sure your MAF sensor is clean. 2. try disconnecting your battery. maybe it will reset something with the O/D. If possible, get a video and upload the truck issue.
