Pretty severe rust damage
I have some severe rust under the doors on both sides, and was looking for some advice on what I could do/who I should see. I'm not looking to make this a show truck, I'm just looking for something to stop the rust and cover the spots the metal should have.
I absolutely love the truck and want to keep it for at least a few more years. It has 127k miles and runs great, so I am completely willing to throw money at this.
ANY ideas are much appreciated!

OR you could do it PROPERLY, if you don't have the skills for this then take it to a body shop, as you said you are willing to put money into it. But it needs to be cut until you find good steel, and then clean that good steel and replace the rusted out area with steel. There are a couple good rocker replacement guides here on the forum, it really isn't as daunting as it seems, and funny enough doing it properly is easier than the hack job that was previously posted.
For me, the hardest part was working up the courage to take a sawzall and start cutting up the side of my 6 month old (to me) truck. LOL
Once I got past the "point of no return" it was a piece of cake.

Thank you for the replies.
I brought it to a local body shop today and the guy who came out to give me and estimate said there was nothing they could do, so I'm very happy to see that it is repairable. I was worried I was going to get responses like "there no chance."
I work with a guy who used to do a lot of body work, Ill see if I can order the panels and have him help me install them.
Ill post pictures afterwards, thanks again!
