No breaker, sounds like bad lift motor.

Check to see if you have power to the motor. Your pw relay may be shot.

The breaker resets itself on older vehicles. I don't know if the newer ones still have a breaker.

I think there is something by the passenger side of the truck in the foot area, but it might be for the locks.

Thats right. I found this out in a 97 Crown Vic. I held the button too long and I thought I blew something. A few minutes later it was fine. I like the idea actually.

There is a relay in the power distribution box under the hood. your owners manual will tell you the fuse , breaker , and relay locations.

good to check them

Default Driver Side Power Window Problem

After reading these posts in search for my own solution, a abreaker makes sence to what happened to me and my truck.

Problem: My Window stopped working,(wife forced a frozen window down) all fuses are in tact, switch works by testing out on another F-150, checked relays, all seems well. Relay only clicks when switch is pushed for windows down. No Click for windows up, Passenger side works fine.

What I did:Bought a new motor, took apart panel, disconnected harness from old motor and connected new motor to check if this was going to be a motor problem, (I havent removed old motor yet) Under the switch everything was disconnected except the driver side window, I pushed the button for window up, new motor moves....great!! Pushed down....no good...plus the relay was clicking, I connected the passenger side to the switch, heard a click and now the driver side up and down button work.

Possible solution: There is a breaker in the motor or somewhere, because it took disconnecting the original motor and completeing a curcuit with the passenger side connector. Window works great now. Anyone else got evidence of a breaker?
