Just popped a plug on my 03 f150 any info on what I need to do here

no.. usually the head will need to be redrilled with a special tool($$$) and u should be good. cant remember the tool name, someone will chime in.. BTW what did u do before it popped? change plugs?

Threads are good on the plug..it happened on the way back from getting beer!! I know what I'm doing tonight and I know it's not working on my truck

samething happened to mine you have to get your plug helicoiled not all mechanics can do it luckily there was one close to where i live. replace with a motorcraft plug there the best ones to help prevent this from happening

Just talked to my buddy about this he has sent 186 heads to the machine shop he says 5.4's are "ticking time bombs" but after you get the heads fixed they are damn near bullet proof...I'm going to take mine to the machine shop in a couple weeks when it's down for the suspension build. After the stories ive heard everyone should do this as a preventative measure. JMO
