Default Plow setup

I'm currently looking at plow setups for my 01 f150. I was wondering if anyone on the page has a plow setup for our years? If so could you upload pictures and tell me what kind of setup you have.

Thanks,
Nick

To be honest the trucks really struggle with any plow set up unless it has the 7700 package.

Yeah that's what I figured, my friend has a snow removal company. Told me he'll get a plow for my truck and I'll be making real good money. Kinda late into the season. Suppose to get 6"-12" tomorrow night. Then apparently a big storm next week. Just seeing how much my truck could handle.

Just bought a 01 f150 super crew cab, 4x4,auto trans with 5.4: how can I tell if it has the 7700 package?

You will have 7 lugs per wheel if you have the 7700 package.

Yea, unless you have upgraded suspension/ torsion bars in the front you shouldn't add a plow. I use to have one on mine, but I sold it to a friend in the local plowing business

besides having heavier torsion bars I don't see the necessity for a 7700 pkg

Not sure why crew cans are different. I've been looking into a cheap used one on CR. My friend plows and needs someone to cover his overload and days he can't so I could pay it off pretty quickly
