Where is the thermostat located on a 2000 f150 5.4

I didn't know for sure if that was it or not by I think my thermostat is sticking because it's running hot and I checked the coolant and it's fine

It's right where the upper hose connects. But if your adding the other gauges then do you need the dummy one as well? Probably have to drain part of the rad to change it

I never drain my rad. I just do it when the engine is cold it tuck my hose facing up and out the way. U don't lose much coolant that way it's it's cold Sony don't get burnt lol
