Are performance chips really worth the money they claim they'll save you?

Talk to franchi motorsports on here. About the best chip out right now. With custom tunes you will see decent gains and they will save some money. What are you looking to accomplish?

For a non-diesel and especially our gen f150's, SCT is the only way to go

Going to back that up?

You're basically saying any other tuner is a waste of money and I'm curious to see what you know.

I agree with him tackle, I've tried edge and superchip and they don't compare well to a sct handheld and especially live wire ts. Just the better programmers, others will agree.

For our gen I would choose an SCT based solely upon customer support and custom tune availability. I wanted an edge for php tuning but it wasn't available for 97/03. Tuners/chips/programmers have limited power gains on our trucks so to get the most you have to go with custom tunes and that alone limits you too sct. Now there is the livewire vs cts debate too

SCT is pretty damn good for diesels too, especially 6.0's
