I liked them like that, as I said, never any bounce, and the look kinda had a mustang vibe to it

For just two the flat bar worked fine for me. I guess if you got rid of the plastic top cover then you could connect flat bar to the core support and definitely be good to go.

Man I'm moving slow on this mod...

Anyhow still trying to decide what I want to do with the switches

I have these cheapo ones already

On second thought, considering the budget nature of this mod, spending $50 on switches seems silly. Maybe after I add more lights.

Any easy ways to add a switch panel to the pocket in the dash below and to the right of the steering wheel? This is where I'm thinking would work out nicely...

I've seen people put black plastic in behind there for that. For mine I just used part of a bed rail cap, tweaked the shape a little, and bolted it under the hood release, since I don't have that pocket
