Anyways that project isn't going to happen this year.

I'm a huge fan of the interior leds in my jeep which come in a "pure white"
They only come 6k which is the pure white color LED's are famous for.

Hrm, maybe I'm thinking of HIDs which always seem to have a blue hue.

Of course its on a black leather interior.

I'm just so not a fan of blue looking headlights.

Luckily I'm going halogen for the cheap. Atm

It's not very blue at all, really white. Here they are compared to Silverstar halogens

I Thought I would give you guys a look at the lamps I purchase for $9 a piece shipped

These things are nice and heavy. adjustable, glass, and come with 100w bulbs supposedly.
(100w hellas cost what, $6?)

I will remove the wiring since I'm running 10awg

I actually purchased 2 of these on amazon warehouse deals for $6 as "used like new" with dented/unopened boxes.

I'm getting ready to tint the tails on my new (to me) 2010 Jeep Commander (7 passenger and NOT a minivan) so I thought that I would practice with the tint on the cheap as all heck lenses.

wow, for cheap, you got me beat, lol

I went to harbor freight and bought the "Off-Road Long-Range Truck Light System", which were 100W off road driving lights for ~$25 with the 20% off coupon

http://www.harborfreight.com/off-roa...stem-3029.html

I didn't want them to stand out...I wanted the subtle look...make them look factory...like they were *meant* to be there

so I installed them on the front bumper:

to keep things clean, I drilled holes in the plastic to run the wires through:

all the wiring was zip-tied and organized so they wouldn't get messy or be exposed to damage:

I also used a relay to power the lights directly off the battery, and to keep the other circuits intact:

I used the car stereo ignition wire for the "power-up" lead to the relay, and mounted the switch that came with the driving lights low, and out of the way:

some people might not like them, but I looooooooove driving lights. They put a bright, big-***, long beam right in front of the truck, and it lights **** up

I saw those lights and seriously considered them!

Great idea adding a relay!

My setup will certainly cost more, but hopefully be less noticeable with the lights off.

I actually spent almost twice as much on wiring as is necessary for this setup since I'm going to add a relay to my DD (96 integra with terribad lights) Could have purchased 10' black/10' red 10awg wires for ~$9 shipped on ebay.

I was actually able to find 25'red/25'black 10awg all copper wire for $15.XX shipped from ebay.

Have not received shipment yet, so I won't endorse the seller until I feel comfortable with that.

Definitely has a purple hue, but not so noticeable IRL

Laid on pretty nice, Next time I will try to go lighter with the coats, more like the first one.

I have not decided if I want to try and practice the clear and wetsand procedure that I will likely do on my Jeep tails and corners.
