Default OBX Headers

I just ordered some OBX long tube headers. I will try and do a "How to" once they come in. Wish me luck with the bolts...

A few days ago I asked the exhaust shop I got to if the installed headers. The lady there said they stay away from them because when you buy headers you have to tighten the bolts like every few months when you first get them. Is this true about having to tighten the bolts all the time?

I had headers on a few of my vehicles and never had too as long as you use the proper torque and tightening sequence.. I could be wrong, I haven't seen it all.

All you have to do is when you finish installing them tighten them to the torque rating, start your truck and let it run for a while to get everything nice and hot, turn your truck off and tighten them again but be careful not to burn yourself and also put anti-sieze on the bolts before you screw them in and youll be good to go, thats what i did and i havent had any problems and its been bout 1.5 years since i installed my headers

Right on thanks man I'm looking at a pair but I'm not sure how well they are, it's the pace setters that are 50 state legal cuz im in California and all the other ones aren't legal. It says it bolts right up to the stock down pipe and keeps the cats in the same spot. Will I have any gain from these? They're about $210
